About The Music Teacher....... Miss Brendli!
Greetings Students, Parents, and Faculty!
My name is Rebecca Brendli and it is an absolute pleasure and privilege to have the opportunity to serve as Hindley's music teacher!
I graduated from Providence College in May 2010 with a B.A. in Music Education with a concentration in Voice and have obtained my Master's Degree in Music Education from Boston University in December 2011. In 2010, I served as the music educator in an elementary school in Rhode Island, teaching PreK-4th grade general music and 3rd & 4th grade chorus. In 2011, I had the honor of being hired as the music teacher at Hindley Elementary School.
I competed and became Miss Greater Stonington in March 2012. During my reigning year, I traveled all around the state promoting my platform issue, "Buddies Against Bullying" to children and teens, as well as raising money for Miss America's National platform organization, Children's Miracle Network. I then had the opportunity to compete in the Miss Connecticut Pageant in June 2012. My talent? Singing, of course! Over 30 young women competed and I had the honor of placing in the Top 10!
What a stimulating, enjoyable school year this is going to be! I look forward to working with the children!
